About Tharaka Constituency

Tharaka constituency is located at upper eastern region and its among three constituencies that form Tharaka Nithi county. Other constituencies includes Chuka-Igambangombe and Maara.
It’s a semi-arid region with temperatures ranging between 24- 34C. its main economic activities is farming and livestock keeping. Its located in the lower sides of Tharaka Nithi county. Its inhibited by Tharaka people who are Bantu speaking community.
